Thank You for a Great Convention!

The 2020 ITBE Convention was held on February 28-29, 2020, in Lisle, Illinois.

We received a lot of good feedback from attendees about our four plenary speakers:

Kory Stamper from Cambridge Dictionaries presented on "English and How it Got This Way: A Quick History."

Alan Seaman from Wheaton College presented on "Visual Literacy and Second Language Fluency: The Visual Arts and English Language Teaching."

Kim Potowski from the University of Illinois at Chicago presented on "No Child Left Monolingual: The Benefits of Dual Language Education."

Kara Morgan-Short from the University of Illinois at Chicago presented on "It's Electric!: What We Know About Language Learning from Brain Research."

Many attendees also reported that they enjoyed the other presentations they attended throughout the Convention. Thank you to all of our presenters for sharing their ideas with the rest of us!

See our ITBE Facebook page for more photos from the Convention.

Thank you, and we hope to see you at our Fall Workshop in October and at next year's Convention!
