2020 ITBE Awards

Each year, Illinois TESOL-BE demonstrates its commitment to the field of English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education by giving professional development awards for ITBE members to attend its annual convention.

In order to encourage ITBE members attendance at the annual ITBE convention, ITBE will be giving away 3 awards - one Professional Development Award, one Travel Grant, and one Student Grant.

  • The Professional Development Award provides complimentary attendance to both days of our Annual Convention.

  • The Travel Grant is a $250 award which will be awarded to a TESOL professional who resides outside a 100 mile radius of the conference. The applicant must provide verification of their address with a current utility bill or drivers license.
