Newsletter Submission Guidelines
Check our call for submissions above for the latest content call. All content should be appropriate for the ITBE audience and be focused on ESL/TESOL and/or bilingual education.
Articles and other items for consideration should be submitted as Microsoft Word attachments to news@itbe.org. You will not receive any confirmation from us that your article was received. Check that you've followed all the guidelines above and check your sent mail to make sure your email went through.
Files should be under 2MB (try changing the photo resolution if this seems to be a problem, 72 dpi is OK for web publications)
Use standard spacing - only ONE space after punctuation marks
Be sure to include a by line in your document as well as a title
All text in the body of the document- (no header)
Citations and references should conform to APA guidelines.
The editors reserve the right to modify any material selected for publication to fit the available space, or to improve on clarity and style. Authors will be consulted prior to publication if changes are deemed by the editors to be substantial. Authors may be given the opportunity to revise their articles if significant changes or refocusing are required. Authors are encouraged to submit articles early to allow time to revise before the deadline if necessary. Articles may be held for upcoming issues.
